Uplift (Mastopexy)

This surgery addresses the issue of breast ptosis (droopiness) that naturally occurs with age, after breast feeding or sometimes because of heavy breasts.

It is important to consider what the primary concern/desire for improvement is, loss of shape, loss or volume or a combination of the two. This will allow us to devise a tailor-made plan for your needs, with one or a combination of techniques. The ptosis is usually due to misplaced excess breast tissue, which requires either removal or repositioning for a more lasting result. The usually enlarged size of the nipple areolar complex (NAC) is also controlled (made smaller) during the same procedure and this surgery cannot be performed without placing scars on the breasts.
